Modern Machinery began in 1944 with a single location in Spokane, Wash. Modern operates full-service branches ina variety of branch locations throughout the United States. The company represents product lines from Komatsu, Dressta, Haulpak, Valmet, Timbco, Wirtgen/Hamm/Vogele, Cedarapids, Ingersoll-Rand, Blaw-Knox, P&H, Terex O&K, Moxy, Sakai, Kolberg-Pioneer, Denharco and Allied Construction Products. Its products include hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, crawler tractor dozers, backhoe loaders, skid-steer loaders, pavers, milling machines, graders, crushing plants, screens, drills, compactors, off-highway trucks, mining shovels, articulated trucks, feller-bunchers, harvesters, forwarders, processors, log loaders, conveyors and a variety of other equipment.
