Founded in 1929, Green Hills Country Club is situated between the business and technology centers of San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Located in Millbrae, Calif., Green Hills is nestled amid the sun-warmed hills that separate the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco Bay. In addition to the Alister MacKenzie-designed championship 18-hole golf course, Green Hills boasts tennis courts, workout facilities and a full-service outdoor swimming pool and recreation area. Sunset dinners and Sunday brunch are specialties at Green Hills. Special events, including the Valentines Dinner-Dance, Hawaiian Luau, New Orleans Night and Oktoberfest are a few of the parties for members and guests. For the club s members and friends, its full-service catering department and spacious, west-facing Sunset Room make a spectacular combination for hosting gala social events, including weddings and dinner parties. Green Hills Country Club is a privately owned company that employs nearly 120 people.
