I have been taking my dog Rambo to Camp Bow Wow in Middlesex for a few months now and have to say it's great!! We take our now 9 month old dog occasionally if we have to go away for the weekend or have plans one day and he absolutely loves it. At first I was a bit skeptical as to how my dog would be treated but after logging in to the doggie cams the first time he went to CBW and seeing how much fun he's having all my worries went away. The staff is great and makes sure Rambo is comfortable with any food, treats, toys, blankets, or anything he needs. I have even called to check up on him to see how he is doing and the staff is more than happy to give me a report. When Rambo comes home he is exhausted from running around all day and def needs time to recuperate from his busy day. I would absolutely recommend CBW to anyone who is considering it!! I also have to note that the prices are very good as compared to some others in the area - which is a big plus!

Very helpful staff, I just recently adopted my dog and we got some good training tips from the personnel. I was able to tour the camp before leaving my dog, and I was very impressed by how the staff interacted with the dogs and how clean the individual cages were. I loved that the dogs can go to an outdoor area as the please. I was happy to learn that I could watch my dog on the webcam, but I had left him around the Christmas holiday and they didn't have the cameras running too much. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and value. I'll definitely be bringing my dog back often because he had a great time.

We have recently become client...

We have recently become clients of Camp Bow Wow and our golden retriever adores the place. He is a 1 1/2 years old so he still has a fair amount of energy, thus running it off with other dogs is perfect. After leaving him for a week while away he came home happy and exhausted. I looked in on him a few times on the cameras and he always seemed to be having an awesome time.

As for those concerned with safety, I know my dog is prone to rough and tumble play (stemming from his belief he's still a puppy and a desire for puppy play). When he began this sort of play he was stopped quickly by the attendant with the dogs. Therefore, I have found them to be very proactive in ensuring the safety of all the dogs.

One thing that really impressed me was the employees learned my dog's name and temperment pretty much immediately (despite the many other dogs there). Therefore, I felt like it really was a proper caring daycare enviornment.

The only improvements I would make would to be get higher resolution cameras (as is it can be difficult to tell the difference between dogs when there are 4 of the same breed) and a bath standard after boarding. He came back rather dirty and it was a bit of a pain needing to get him bathed right when he got home because he was so filthy.

Camp Bow Wow in Middlesex is a great place to bring your best friend. My 2 dogs have been there a few times during vacation and they get their baths there which is such a plus.

I love that you can watch your dog from your computer (while on vacation too) and see how they are doing. They have a friendly staff and are always helpful.

I'll be putting Bella & Alley in around the holidays with a bath too cause nothings better when they come home all nice and clean...

I really wanted to like this place since it is so close to my home. However, my dog has come back on numerous occasions with scrapes and on one occasion a bite. It was probably just rough play but not once was I informed.

Camp Bow Wow is a great place to board your family pet. We use them every time we go away and our baby Dixie always comes back a happy girl. I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you for all that you do for us.

We absolutely LOVE this place!...

We absolutely LOVE this place! It really makes us feel good about bringing my dog here when he rushes me into the front office and greets Joe and staff with kisses and a wagging tail. We also LOVE the ability to check in on him during the day on their awesome live webcams. Even grandma can check in on him on these webcams! They are so accommodating here, and will feed my dog breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of the spacious "cabins". Since my dog comes home so tired and just wants to go to sleep, the fact that these folks will feed my dog dinner is very useful! We HIGHLY recommend this place! FIVE BARKS UP to Camp Bow Wow in Middlesex!!

My 10 pound Pomeranian was att...

My 10 pound Pomeranian was attack by an English Bulldog at Camp Bow Wow Middlesex. Thankfully I was still at the facility when it occurred. They brought out my dog which was covered in dog drool and not being able to put weight on his right leg.

Being upset at the time, I did not get the specifics of what occurred. Later I called the day care to get the details and was told that when my Pomeranian was taken into the play area and a dog went after him and had my dog's leg in his mouth. I then pressed the worker and asked how big the dog was that attacked my dog. After asking him the same question three different times, he finally said 35-40 pounds. The vet confirmed that my dog's leg was bitten and that his neck was also injured in the attack. The vet added that my dog was extremely lucky given that a dog as powerful as a bulldog attacked him. It has been about 5 days after the attack and my dog still yelps in pain even though he is on pain medications.

I know dogs are animals and can be unpredictable at times, but there is no way that my Pomeranian should have been in the same play area as a bull dog. This is exactly the reason why I would always ask the staff if there were small dogs in that day. No one I know considers a 40 pound dog a small dog. It is NEGLIGENT!

The kicker to this whole story is that this bulldog is still allowed in the day care! That's right, a dog who attacked and bit another dog is allowed back because "this was the only time he has done this". Isn't once enough? Especially considering this bulldog has only been going to this facility for a month.

Be very careful where you take you dogs. Ask every question that you can think of and do not assume anything. Ask how many dogs in their care have attacked other dogs at the facility. Learn from my mistake and please do not take you dog to Camp Bow Wow Middlesex. I wished I had not trusted their judgment with my beloved pet.

I love Camp Bow Wow Middlesex!...

I love Camp Bow Wow Middlesex! I toured alot of daycare/boarding facilities before settling on this one. Camp Bow Wow Middlesex has to be the cleanest place I have ever seen and it's brand new. Some places I had checked out had that doggy odor, but these folks keep the place immaculate. The owner, Jennifer and manager, Joe were both happy to take me on a tour to proudly show off the place. They answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. Some other places I had gone would not even let me past the lobby to see where the dogs are kept. The staff seems to really care about the animals they watch over. You can view your dog all day via their web cams. The dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor play areas all day long. Camp Bow Wow Middlesex Rocks!

Great Place!

After hearing horror stories of OTHER dog day cares, we were pleased and relieved to find Camp Bow Wow .The facility is brand new and super-clean -- and cute too (the front desk area is designed to look like you're in a cabin). On our tour, we met with one of the owners, Jennifer, who was knowledgeable and friendly. After our dear Henry (5 mo. old Boxer) "passed" his interview, he spent a day at camp, working out all of his puppy energy. Best of all, we were able to peek in on him during the day by using their web cam! After playing all day, Henry came home and slept like we've never seen him sleep before. Henry had a bath yesterday while he was at Camp, and he came back clean and smelling great. His paws were SO clean -- we never thought they could look that good again. I'm sure he can't wait for another day at Camp. We "dig" Camp Bow Wow!

Camp Bow Wow is WOW WOW!

My Golden Doodle enjoyed her days at Camp Bow Wow. She was a little timid at first but the camp counselors gave her a lot of attention. She soon felt at ease and played with the other "campers." I am so glad the facility has moved into our neighborhood.

Camp Bow Wow and How!

The owner of this facility, Jennifer, and the General Manager, Joe, are the most congenial people and immediately put you at ease upon entering the front door. My dog Maddie absolutely LOVES coming here and has a great time and is thoroughly exhausted when I pick her up, which is a blessing to me! I would highly recommend this facility to everyone.
