        Miami Springs Middle School is a public, coeducational school that enrolls more than 1,800 students in grades six through eight. It provides educational opportunities for the development of academic, social and career skills. The school offers a variety of academic courses, including math, science, English, social studies, foreign languages, engineering, technology education and performing arts. It additionally offers exceptional student education and English as a Second Language programs. The school s library provides a variety of reading and reference materials, as well as offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. It provides opportunities to participate in a variety of student organizations, such as Future Teachers of America, a student council and the National Junior Honor Society. The school also offers various athletic activities, including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field. Located in Miami Lakes, Fla., Miami Springs Middle School is a part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
