I'm sure the service there is good for some people because there were several customers that came in after us, but that were served before us. We waited a long time for everything! He forgot our check for about 10 minutes until he saw me getting up to leave! The food is good, but very expensive! My husband had a beer, we shared calamari, and had our entrees. With tip the bill was $86! With horrible service I don't expect to pay that much.

Awesome! Yes, I read from the other reviewers that the place is a bit noisy, but that is Italians for you. I am married to one, I should know. But they are down to earth people who love to have fun, cook and eat, and be loud! The food is delicious! I have never eaten at a restaurant where I eat slowly just to savor every bite! The service is great!

  • Miami's best italian food

Small but cozy italian restaurant in Pinecrest. Delicious food and wonderful service. I will definitely return for more and recommend it to everyone I know.

  • A bit loud and congested.

Our experience at Trattoria Luna was mixed. Though the service and food were good, the restaurant is very noisy and the seating is quite crowded. We felt as though we were having dinner with the people at the next table. Also, it is quite expensive as the menu is ala carte for the most part. They have the best gnocci and panna cotte in Miami but we didn't quite get on board with the potatoes that accompany the entrees as they seemed not quite authentically Italian. The afterdinner homemade Limoncello was a nice touch and the owner is charming. We'd try it again but never on a weekend.

  • Good food, goofy service

Great location across from Dadeland in a strip mall with lots of parking. The food was good and in abundance. The server told me about the reservation history of the people I was meeting -- not really appropriate. It may have been because my guests were regulars, but the server was very casual and overly solicitous. They played ""They say it's your birthday (Beatles)"" for a birthday SO LOUDLY that we couldn't speak to each other -- and they played the whole d*mned song. Peculiar.
