Best Vet EVER!!!! We have three dogs, 2 females and one male. Vet visits are commons specially when you have small breeds of different ages. Honestly there is no one thing I could ever complain about this hospital. The staff is amazing, their attention top quality and their prices are fair. We were in shock when we were told that the stayed for a small kennel was $18/night while we had actually spent $250 for a plane ticket to take our dog with us on a trip thinking boarding would be too expensive. Dr. Mordaunt is great, he takes his time explaining the issue and answers any concern; and I really mean ANY.... They even follow up the next day to see how our dog was doing and last but no least. Our dog LOVED THE VET... I mean like literally not even shaking... she just let him go back and for like nothing. And in 5 years she had never even let a vet touch her without barking and whining usually we have to hold her and force her to stay still but in here she was happy and given. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE. You will not be disappointed. Definitively changing Vets forever, my baby is doing great and her diet is working to the perfection.

Town and country animal hospital is the best place anyone can take there pets. My dog Buddy loves it, it's like a wonderland for animals! Dr.Wenke and Dr.Mourdaunt are very dedicated and professional. They have treated my dog for allergies, and has cured every problem my lab has had. All the staff are extremely nice and loving. They treat my dog with so much love that he isn't nervous to go to the vet anymore. The boarding service is great, my dog enjoyed it. They gave him to me clean and healthy and very happy! I recommend this animal hospital to everyone!

The Drs and staff our execellent. The facility is very clean and well kept. I've been taking my pets there for several years and have no complaints. Appointments are on time. They care for my pets like if it was their own. 100% would recommend!

Town and Country Animal Hospital has been serving my own dogs, plus all of my rescues, for several years now. They are not only considered one of the best animal hospitals in South Florida for professional and medical reasons, but their "country doctor" approach to both me and my dogs is absolutely heartwarming. The doctors and the staff are endlessly patient and handle the dogs with such a loving, gentle touch. Equally important, they are very sensitive to the owners' concerns and questions, and never generate an anxious or rushed feeling when you're in the examination room. You KNOW you have the undivided attention of your doctor and the vet tech for as long as you need it. It's clear that they are not just in the BUSINESS of carring for animals; this team really loves what they do and the animals in their care. Luckily, my own dogs have never suffered any traumatic medical issues, but my rescue scenarios have ranged from hernia surgeries to the removal of bullets, and everything in between. The care and medical attention given these poor dogs is unmatched, not to mention the treats and playful attention. With a rescue, you never know what medical or temperament issue you're dealing with....but they handle my rescues with confidence and tenderness. Bottom line: they're superior in medical application and customer service, their establishment is always immaculate and their sincere love for animals shines through. If there was an option for a 100-star rating, that would be my choice for MY vet, Town and Country Animal Hospital.

This is the best vet ever!! the doctors are very professional and excellent with my pets. They are also very good at taking the time to explain the medical situation to me. The staff is great! They all love pets, which is important to me. Plus they are always very helpful!! So far the team at Town and Country has saved the life of my chihuahua who suffers from seizures and repaired the ACL of one of my jack russels so now she is back enjoying her active lifestyle!! I have been taking my pets to Dr. Mordaunt at Town & Country Animal Hospital for 11 years and I have nothing but great things to say about him, his hospital, and his staff. He has helped me through some very difficult problems with my cats and I trust him wholeheartedly. He is extremely thorough in his examination and analysis of the situation and in his research of treatment alternatives. He is compassionate, practical, and resourceful. It is obvious that he cares about his clients and has the best interest of the animals at heart. I would never trust the care of my cats and dog to anyone other than Dr. Mordaunt. Five years ago we moved to Pinecrest and I now have a much longer drive to get to his hospital. I have 6 cats and 1 dog which means I am at the vets on a regular basis; however, I will gladly make that drive every time. I wish Dr. Mordaunt was located closer to me and I am sure there are good vets that are in my area, but I am confident that none are as exceptional as Dr. Mordaunt. He has always been there for me when I have needed him and I know that I can count on him and his staff to go above and beyond every time. Dr. Mordaunt has become like family to me and I would highly recommend his hospital to everyone with a pet. They are truly the best!

I totally disagree with the expensive and rushed review. I have been a loyal client of Town and Country Animal Hospital for the past five years. I have three dogs and find the prices to be very fair and compatible with other hospitals/clinics around the area. Not to mention the quality of care and service far exceeds any hospital that I have been to.The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. They have wellness plans with low monthly fees that allow me to provide the best quality care for my pets.They have also helped me with unexpected emergencies and allowed me to make monthly payments. I am forever grateful for everything they have done for me. Thank you to all the doctors and staff at Town and Country animal hospital. Your the best!

We have been clients of Town & Country Animal Hospital for the past 24 years. Dr. Mordaunt is the most compassionate and thorough veterinarian with whom we have had experience. He and his staff are truly dedicated to the health of animals and it is very apparent that they have a genuine love for animals.

The hospital offers the most services that I have ever seen in a veterinarian's office. In addition to a full lab, they have a state-of-the-art surgical suite, a dentist extraordinaire and an excellent groomer who actually listens to the client’s requests rather than doing what HE wants to do.

They will do everything possible to save an animal. For example, I am on high doses of Coumadin (a blood-thinner which is the same chemical used in rat poison). One day, I had taken my morning dose of several different medications and one of the Coumadin tablets must have dropped on the floor unnoticed.

One of our dogs had Huntington’s Syndrome (where the animal has such a voracious appetite that they will eat anything in sight) and she, unfortunately ate the tablet. I had no idea until the following morning when she showed signs of overdose. They worked day and night to save our dog. There is a vet tech who stays overnight in a dormitory above the hospital. The tech comes down throughout the night to check on the hospitalized pets. Dr. Mordaunt actually called us in the middle of the night to get permission for a transfusion as it was a life-saving procedure.

Over the years, we have either had our dogs die of old age and cancer. The staff was so compassionate and understanding each time by sending cards and a paw print in plaster as a remembrance of our beloved pets.

We trust Town & Country Animal Hospital completely with our 4-legged family members and know that they are receiving the best of care possible.

From the moment i called to the time of my visit the staff was very courteous and informative. They were able to fit me in even though I did not have an appointment and were still very nice about it. The Doctor answered all my questions, even the ones I thought would be irrelevant. The price was reasonable with other places i had previously called. Overall my experience was great and i would recommend it to my friends, family and anyone I know.‎

I have been a loyal client of Dr. Wenke since 1984. I have had several dogs, cats, and strays, under his care. When he built the state of the art hospital, with his excellent staff, I was thirlled. All the doctors and staff are proficiant, and kind and make me feel like one of the family. I have sent others there as well. All of them have told me how wonderful their experiance has been. They (the Doctors and Staff) are the best. We have entrusted our kids (5 past) and (3present) with T&C for 25 years, before and after Hurricane Andrew. I will never forget them setting up a clinic under a tent after Andrew. We also use the Boarding Facility and are very confident leaving them, knowing they will get the ultimate attention and care. My pets are my children and I would not be comfortable leaving them anywhere else. In talking with friends outside of Miami, I feel T&C's services (expense wise) are in line with other facilites. We are enrolled in the Wellness Plan and it does help. We have had very expensive procedures done in the past and have always been able to work out comfortable payment plans. All in all, I wish my people doctors were as concerned , considerate , and caring. Love you guys.

I recently took my dog to get her annual vaccines and it was very expensive!! The doctor was knowledgable; however, they took her away from me to inject her with the vaccines, so I'm not even sure they really did them. They didn't give me the parasites results when they brought her out and I had to call (after I left) to make sure she didn't have any. I felt that the service was rushed and way too overpriced. I wouldn't go back..

I took my dog to Town & Country Animal Hospital and I was blown away by the facility. I have been taking my dog there for years and would not chnage. The staff is friendly and caring. The boarding facility is top notch. The prices are in line with other vets that I have used in the past.

You will not be dissapointed with this animal hospital. From the molment you pull up you realize that this is not your ordinary vet. It is state of the art free standing building with a top notch staff. I disagree wtih the other review about the price. I found the price vs services to be inline with what I have paid in the past.
