Vendor failed to respond to emails/calls which requested information/assistance regarding an on-line order. Once contacted, owner was extremely rude. Original Order was place online on 7/21. Order was processed on 7/25. I never received an automated email which included an invoice after placing the order. I sent an email to the store(7/22) asking about the status of the order: "I placed an order on Sunday for a couple Nn3 Cabooses. I didn't receive an email. So, I wanted to know if you received the order and/or you have the items in stock." I never received a response. I tried calling once after, no answer. I received the order in the mail on 7/31. 1 of the 2 items ordered were shipped b/c the other was out of stock. I called again and talked to the owner, Greg. Firstly, I asked if he was the owner or manager to which he rudely replied, "Why?". I told him that I would have liked to have received an email or notification about the out of stock item. He wasn't receptive and thought that I should have specified this at the time of the order. He became upset and continued to berate me for bringing this issue up. He wanted to give me $1.50 store credit. I told him that I had no interested in credit but wanted to let him know that his lack of communication and rude attitude were inappropriate.
