Teeth Cleaning
Following your appointment, we will provide you with information concerning the at-home care needed for your dentures. We strongly recommend that patients schedule follow-up appointments for periodic professional dental cleanings.

Fillings
When your tooth suffers from a traumatic injury or has a cavity, we may recommend a filling. Here at Menendez Dental Associates, P.A., we specialize in silver amalgam fillings. You may hear these referred to as “silver fillings” because of their silver coloring, but they are comprised of a combination of metals. Silver amalgam fillings are made from liquid elemental mercury and a powdered alloy consisting of silver, copper, and tin. Just like other types of fillings, they can be placed in the tooth to fill any cavities or cracks along a tooth’s surface. Silver amalgam fillings are stronger than many other types of fillings and are made to last a lifetime with proper care. Additionally, silver amalgam fillings are one of the least expensive kinds of fillings used by dentists today.
Veneers
Veneers are thin shells intended to cover the front side of teeth to hide stains, chips, decay, or irregularities. A dental technician uses a model created by a dentist to make a custom shell out of special materials. Because veneers require removing some enamel, they are usually permanent. Your dentist will typically recommend avoiding food and drink that will stain your veneers. Dr. Menendez possesses over 27 years of exceptional experience in dentistry. Dr. Menendez graduated from University of Havana. After earning his doctorate in Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Menendez practiced general dentistry in Cuba until 1997, when he came to the United States. He was able to practice dentistry again in the State of Florida in 2005 after attending an international program at Loma Linda University, CA and passing all the required state board examinations.
