BracesSometimes patients with new braces feel some tenderness on the cheeks and gums during the first few days of treatment. This is normal! It is also temporary.
OrthodonticsOrthodontists can fix the improper positioning of teeth, making them fit together for a proper bite. If your child has crooked teeth or an improperly developed jaw bone, an orthodontist will provide treatment to straighten and space teeth properly, and to influence the development of the jaw. The orthodontist will also help to bring adult teeth through the gums to their proper position if they become impacted. Giving your child quality dental care through orthodontics will help to ensure their good oral health for life.
Invisalign Orthodontics® uses a series of custom–made aligners crafted from clear plastic. You simply wear them over your teeth, changing to a new set about every two weeks. They gradually shift your teeth to the desired position that your orthodontist plans out for you. With Invisalign
Dental ImplantsA periodontist works with your regular dentist to treat moderate to severe periodontal disease. Your dental care requires this type of specialist for procedures like scaling and root planing to clean tartar buildup below the gumline, and washing away the bacteria that causes inflammation of the gums. More severe cases may require regenerative procedures like gum grafting. A periodontist also places dental implants for patients seeking a permanent replacement for lost teeth.
Dental BondingIf you are unhappy with stained, broken, or uneven teeth, there are a range of optional, high-quality cosmetic treatments to help. Dentists use dental bonding to fix chips and rough spots in teeth, and veneers or crowns to change the color, shape, size, and length of teeth. They can shape and contour your tooth enamel to correct unevenness. We also offer an assortment of tooth-whitening options to fit your needs, restoring your bright smile!
VeneersRemove tooth structure to enhance appearance using enameloplasty to reshape or contour teeth Dentaland also provides top of the line cosmetic services delivered with thorough aesthetic expertise to enhance the look of teeth and give you a brighter, whiter smile. We offer many convenient options including veneers, bleaching with Zoom
CrownsCrown Lengthening Explained Crown lengthening improves the health of gum tissues. It is also used in preparation for other restorative and cosmetic dental procedures, like the correction of "gummy" smiles where teeth are covered by gum tissue. During the procedure, which is performed under local anesthetic, the periodontist will separate the soft tissue of the gums away from the teeth and remove as much tissue as is necessary to provide a satisfactory result. The bone and tooth roots will be visible during the procedure; in some cases a small amount of bone must be removed to provide sufficient exposure for the teeth.
Root Canal TreatmentWhen the dental pulp inside your tooth becomes inflamed or infected, it can be very painful or make your tooth very sensitive to pressure and temperature; you will need a root canal. This inflammation or infection can be caused by deep decay, cracks in teeth, and even repeated dental procedures. A root canal treatment will remove the source of the problem and restore your tooth to full, pain-free functionality.
Tooth WhiteningAs with all dental procedures, bleaching to whiten teeth should only be performed after consulting with your dentist to see if it is right for you. Common side effects from tooth whitening include tooth sensitivity and irritation of the gums, both of which usually disappear shortly after treatment is completed. After a thorough oral examination, your dentist will determine the most appropriate tooth-whitening procedure for your teeth.

Oral Cancer Screening
Dental ExaminationDiagnosing Periodontal Disease Our periodontists perform comprehensive exams to diagnose all stages of periodontal disease. The periodontist will take measurements of the "pockets" or spaces between the teeth and gums to assess their depth and whether any bleeding is present. Healthy teeth and gums have pockets that measure one to three millimeters deep with no bleeding. Pockets that measure deeper than that and that bleed indicate periodontal problems. The periodontist will also look for loose teeth, missing teeth, areas where gums have receded, and examine digital x–rays to look for bone loss.
