courteous, friendly , informative and helpful. Even if i can't take someone home that day i love to window shop in this pet center.

I have lived in Metairie for over 4 years and have two wonderful and loyal dogs. I must have passed this pet supply store at least 1000 times and not once stopped in to see what type of products they sell.

Finally last week I pulled into the parking lot which they share with the other merchants in this strip shopping center. Parking in plentiful and what is inside the store makes me feel like a little kid waiting for Santa to drop off the gifts on Christmas Eve!



When you walk in the Double M Feed Store, you will find open pens towards the front of the store. These pens house the current litter of puppies for sales. Adorable puppies such as Yorkies, Tea Cup Poodles, Chihuahuas, and Maltese.



At the front counter you will find a happy-go-lucky fellow named Walter. Turns out that Walter owns the store. Walter's son works there as well. Both the father and the son are extremely courteous, patient and more than willing to spend as much time as you need from them. The prices are not outrageous and the quality of their pet supplies is first class.



They sell all types of dry dog foods and canned products that you will not find at your grocery store.



I love this store.



The only negative comment I could possibly make about this store is their business hours. They are open Monday through Saturday and I know for sure that on Monday through Friday, they close at 6:00pm. I wish they stayed open a couple of hours later as the traffic tends to bottle up between 5pm and 6pm in front of their store.



I do not care if they changed their hours and closed at 3:00pm everyday as the they would still have me as a loyal customer!
