As someone who has been lucky enough to sample several types of Latin cuisine and lived in Texas for nearly 20 years, I could conservatively say that I am a connoisseur of this type of food. Having said that, 90% of the food at this restaurant is awful. There are some good things, but those bright shining dishes are few and far between. That coupled with the fair service and an imbecilic owner prove that the only thing keeping this place open is the memory of better food. My grandparents, parents and most of my family have been going to this restaurant long before it got new owners and a horrible food makeover. Still to this day, a group of about 15 of us go every few months, but hopefully, today was our last visit. Some ladies had purchased a gift card and not only were they told it wouldn't work and berated by the owner, this "man" continued to walk around the place mumbling obcinities and telling each of his wait staff about how we were crazy. He did NOTHING to remedy an easy problem. His arrogant attitude is sure to sink this business eventually. DO NOT GO HERE.

We've got to go to Casa Garcia, they have the best bean dip & nachos, absolutely free when you are seated. Ask for Bernie, he's the best waiter.

The server took 15 minutes to get to my table and acknowledge my party. He took the order in a hurry and got about 3/4 of it wrong. All in all the food did not make up for the atrocious service.

Worth going there for the Nachos Garcia alone! Everyone is really nice there, too!

The food is always fresh and the same every time. the best homemade salsa ever with lots of cilantro (my fave!). Chili rellanos are one of our favorite dishes. Can't decide which is more flavorful, the beef or the cheese one. The drinks are always TOPS! Great service, too.
