Garden Vale Apartments

I have been an apartment manager for 20+ yrs..... most of the time when somebody writes a bad review, it's because they were caught doing something wrong. there is more to being a good tenant than paying your rent on time. Im sure if this was a problem area with drugs etc.... that the local police dept would be involved. so for those of you reading bad reviews, don't always judge a place by what you read. if you have concerns drive thru the complex, you can tell a lot about a place by it's up keep, and curb appeal, also you can call the local law enforcement agency and ask questions.

if you are aware of the drugs going around, then you must be involved in the purchasing and buying of such drugs...... I have lived in many apartments and it sounds like the manager doesn't let people run over her. you have to be tough and thick skinned to do the job they do... and as far as painting and shampooing carpets while a tenant has lived there for 10-20 yrs, I don't see that management is responsible for your house cleaning, if your too lazy to do it yourself, then hire someone to do it for you. unless it's in the lease that they will do this on a yearly basis then you should not be putting them down. sounds to me like you may have got caught up in some stuff that your guilty of and are trying to bash the property, manangement and owners for you own actions.......Grow up

The person who wrote the above review must be high on some of the drugs that are so rampant at Garden Vale, mostly narcotics. Pills traded for food stamps, sex, and money. It is a ghetto in the center of a middle-class neighborhood. Maintenance is non-existent and band-aid repairs are the norm. Others have lived there for years without apartments being repainted and carpets not shampooed; some as long as 10-20 years. And forget paying your rent on time, it does not matter to the manager Caroline Coada. If she decides you need to go, she will find a reason to get rid of you regardless of reason or circumstance. She is bitter, uncooperative, vindictive and unforgiving. The rules and regulations are very restrictive and extreme... even grilling out is forbidden. The appliances are severely outdated, with some stoves dating back to the '70s. Walls are paper thin and the apartments were constructed in the late '60s, with many of the buildings patched together with the least amount of effort
