Spaying and Neutering
We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. Surgical services and facilities include fully trained veterinary and technical staff to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG, oxygen saturation monitors and blood-pressure monitoring; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing. We practice aggressive pain management, in order to ensure that our patients experience as little post-operative discomfort as possible.

Laboratory Services
Federal law requires that we must examine your pet prior to prescribing or dispensing most medications. An annual exam and/or blood tests or other procedures may be required to fill your pet's prescription. Your understanding in this matter is appreciated. For faster service it is recommended you call at least 24 hours in advance for prescription refills.
X-Ray
Dental Radiology
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. All of our radiographs are reviewed by a board-certified radiologist. We also have Dental radiography which gives excellent insight into your pets' dental health.
Microchipping
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We recommend and offer implantation of the Home Again microchip to increase the chances of a safe recovery, or to prevent theft of your pet. Local animal control agencies and most veterinary hospitals scan lost & recovered pets for these chips. A microchip is the only form of identification that cannot be lost, stolen, or altered.

General Pet Care

Boarding
Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active. Cats stay in our "kitty condos"- a sunroom where they can lounge in the sun and watch all the "goings on" outside on B Street. The best way to help protect your pet as he or she ages is to understand the aging process in pets. We understand that process and can help you help your pet. Even if your senior pet is already being treated for a medical condition, treatment recommendations can change as a condition progresses. Routine wellness blood work and other routine diagnostic testing are important for senior pets because these tests allow us to evaluate how your pet’s health is either responding to current management strategies or changing with age.
