The Mars Area Primary Center is governed by the Mars Area School District. The center enrolls approximately 400 students in kindergarten through first grade. Its language arts curriculum enhances reading, speaking, writing and listening skills. The Mars Area Primary Center offers classes in several subjects, such as math, social studies, science and physical education. The center s curriculum also includes computers, technology, music and art. Its library includes a collection of puzzles, storybooks, and fiction and nonfiction books. The Mars Area Primary Center provides special education and English as a Second Language programs. The center employs subject teachers, nurses, counselors, paraprofessionals and reading specialists.
