Dr No's Comics Games Books

Dr. No's is the most professional comic bookstore I have been to. I am always asked if I need assistance, which is a nice change from the multitude of comic bookstores that won't even acknowledge customers, unless they are favored regulars. The selection is top-notch for new titles, back issues, and graphic novels. They also have a good selection of board games. All of the staff are pretty nice, especially Cliff, who is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help.

My only complaint is that my husband was going to buy something that was damaged during the Diamond shipment. He asked if there would be a discount since the item was damaged and not resalable by Diamond standards. My hubby was told no discount. I could understand if the item was valuable, but this was a new book that would have been considered in poor condition by Amazon and ebay standards (the top corner was smushed on the side and wrinkled up like an accordion), and he was just buying it to read, not resale. We're regulars, and my husband had never asked for a discount before, so that was a little disappointing, but overall our experiences have been very positive.

Also, this is a comfortable store for female customers. Several of the staff members are females, and the guys don't leer or stalk you through the store. It is well-lit (a welcome change from most dingy, dark stores), and everything is well-organized. The best comic bookstore, hands down. We have several stores in the Fayette/Henry area that is a short drive from us, but we will drive all the way to Marietta for Dr. No's, and they are always well worth the trip.
