Oak Park Tavern

Had a really great evening with friends at Oak Park last Sunday! It was mine and my husbands first time there and we are going back very soon. The service was outstanding and extremely friendly! They had a good selection of beers and poured a good Manhattan. As far as dinner, my Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. Our friends all had the perch and my husband had Scallops. Its a short drive from town but its really worth the trip.

Had another great dinner at Oak Park. We enjoy eating at the bar because its friendly and we can see the chef preparing our food. Its old and charming but the food is so much better than any national steakhouse or chain restaurant. the burgers are amazing but I really enjoy the seafood. Had fresh Oysters and scallops last night and my girlfriend ordered the Prime Rib. She loved it, but thats what she always gets!

We find Oak Park to be comfortable and friendly.I love the variety on the menu and specials. My husbands always has the perch and filet combination. The soups are homemade, with the french onion being the best anywhere. I had the pumpkin cheesecake last night and would say there's none better. And most important, the service has always been excellent.

Recently my parents took my wife and I to the Oak Park Tavern. I have a good idea what the bill was and for four people to eat, the quality,service and atmosphere were better then any five star restaraunt. The food was incredibly fresh. We absolutely loved it! thanks

Comfortable and charming with great food and service. We always leave full and happy. The Perch is the best ANYWHERE! And the french onion soup is amazing. Love to sit outside when its nice and enjoy a few beers.

Have dined at Oak Park many times and alway enjoy the great service and excellent steaks! It is cozy and comfortable inside with an old style charm. I really enjoy the Lake Erie Perch and French Onios soup. They have alot of side choices to go with the meals. I particularly like being able to order a fresh vegetable. The drinks are also excellent. I would suggest the long islands and margaritas.

Had a very enjoyable meal at Oak Park on Mother's Day. It was our first time there but we were treated like family! A special thanks to the host for suggesting the patio! We loved it! And the food was fantastic. I had the Filet Mignon. It was the best steak I'v had in a very long time, thick, tender and juicy! My wife had the Salmon with bourbon sauce and fresh brocolli. She raved about both. And the Peach Sangrias were really good. we will be going back very soon!

Oak Park is our favorite place to eat. The food is fantastic and everyone is very friendly. They have the best Lake Perch anywhere...the best shrimp cocktail...wonderful steaks and really big and really good margaritas!

My husband and I have been going to Oak Park for a little over 20 yrs. when it comes to Birthdays and Anniversarys this is where we go unlike a chain resturant they cut there meat fresh a couple times a week you could almost cut your fielt with a fork it is so tender and their seafood is always the best biggest scallops I ever seen...Then there's the owners almost always there to greet you with a smile and and a big Thank you on the way out..servers have always been kind and enjoyable and the price is right .....soup,salad and main course and and good stiff drink if you'd like,,can't beat it so go try it you will LOVE IT

We love going to Oak Park...especially on Tuesdays when they have their 2 for $22.Two of us can get a meal with a side AND soup and salad are included in the price! Now thats a deal...the only heartattack i would have from my bill would be from not being charged ENOUGH. I couldn't even go to the store and get a 3 course meal for $22. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

We cant say enough good about Oak Park Tavern. They offer great service and food. I'v never had a bad meal there. We go for the perch but also enjoy the primerib and good drinks. Its comfortable and friendly and not that expensive. Much better than any chain restaurant.

Really trying to find a good dinner locally and this place just blends in with all the other bad meals. If you like still frozen on the inside and over priced spirits well come on in for frostbite and a heart attack when you get the bill.

I love this place. Their Lake Erie perch is wonderful and since adding the outside deck, it's nice to sit out there in good weather. A lot of food for the price.

Perch dinner is outstanding. A short drive from Mansfield but well worth the trip!!

Oak Park is our favorite restaurant. We've been eating there for over 20 years! I love their salmon and my husband usually gets a steak. The servers are friendly and the drinks are always good! If you like independant restaurants, Oak Park is a must try.

Dining at the Oak Park Tavern is where I go for Lake Erie Perch and Filet Mignon. (Land and Sea) The owner also features daily specials and provides something different other than the usual menu. Best Margarita in town is here. Do not just show up and expect to get in. Make a reservation and enjoy the view on your drive out.
