Williams’ Family Dentistry was established in July, 1968, by Dr. Ernest I. Williams, Jr. Dr. Williams first practiced with Dr. Kirk Cone for about 3 years before building his first office building on East Page where he practiced with his wife Janet, a dental hygienist. That building was destroyed in December 1982 by a tornado that left several other Malvern businesses devastated. At that time Dr. Williams rebuilt out on Ridge Road and joined his new office building to his residence. Practicing dentistry out in the county provided a more relaxing atmosphere for his patients. He practiced there until his death in 2001. Dr. & Mrs. Williams worked together for 30 years in his practice. In January, 2002, Dr. Edward Oliver, a retired dentist from Hot Springs, AR agreed to come and help run the practice for a few months—and is still here. He and Janet and the employees were able to keep Dr. Williams practice going and even grew it to serve more and more patients. The practice is located in a beautiful rural setting 1 ½ miles from downtown Malvern. Dr. Oliver and the staff enjoy working together to provide their patients with excellent dentistry.
