Today my dog Rex (7mo old Boxer) ate a bee... He's a bit goofy. I took him to the vet because his tongue immediately started swelling and he was a difficult time breathing. When I got to the vet they showed me to a room where the vet tech was waiting. I opened Rex's mouth and showed her the situation and she went to get the Dr. The Dr. (that had never seen Rex EVER) came in holding the THREE muzzles you see in the attached picture. She stated that in previous visits my dog has been unpredictable, what she is referring to is the last time we went in to visit the vet tech that saw us that time got scared when Rex let out a moan A MOAN NOT A GROWL!!!! NO TEETH WERE BARED AND HE DID NOT IN ANY WAY SNAP!! I put my foot down and said that in no way they would be muzzling him. She informed me that if he bit they would quarantine him and it was best for everyone in the room if he remained muzzled. I told her that IF he bit her we would cross that bridge at that time but that muzzling a dog that already had a problem breathing was not OK. They ended up going along with it and we had a fine visit. Rex took 3 shots (ONE WITH A NEEDLE THAT SHE TOOK OUT OF HIS LEG AND PLACED IN HIS HIP WITH NO STERILIZATION OR ANYTHING) his blood pressure checked, and everything else that goes with a normal visit with no growl, snarl or even a whine. IT IS VETS LIKE THESE THAT CREATE AGGRESSIVE DOGS!!!!! I have attached a photo of my "aggressive" dog with his 4 year old sister showing how "aggressive" he can be.
PLEASE SHARE THIS AND ADVISE ANYONE YOU KNOW TO AVOID PAWS TO CLAWS VET IN MAGNOLIA, TX AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
HAD REX NOT BEEN IN SUCH A SERIOUS CONDITION I WOULD HAVE LEFT.....

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! My first issue was they ran over on their morning appointments and my 2pm appointment for my cats check up didn't end until after 6pm. My cat is terrified of cars so taking him home and rescheduling wasn't an option. My second issue was I boarded my dog for the weekend. When scheduling I asked the fees and explained I wouldn't be there for drop off or pick up. They gave my dog who is allergic to EVERYTHING shots without my permission. I have papers from the emergency animal hospital stating he is allergic and will have to be monitored if he had to receive any type of shots. Yet they still charged me for something even though they risked my dogs life. I was never told he would have to have any type of shots since all of his shots are current. I want to file a report to the BBB but am unable to find them listed. If you love your pet, please take them to someone that actually cares.

Everyone at Paws to Claws is amazing! We took in our two Dachshunds and they make a special point to keep them together because one of them has separation anxiety. They've even allowed our anxiety prone dog to stay the night with our dachshund that needed treatment when he needed to be kept overnight for treatment!! I can't say enough good things about the doctors and staff here. They really care about the pets they care for and always take their time to listen to concerns. Their prices are fair and reasonable, and I've found them to be honest about treatment options and health risks, which in my experience has been rather difficult to find.

What a wonderful place. I ran in one day, having never been in the clinic before, with an animal emergency regarding my sweet rabbit, who ended up needing to be euthanized. They were SO kind....and truly showed compassion, then sent a sympathy card, as well as a clay pawprints impression hand painted to hang on the wall to me a few weeks later. It means alot to find a place that shows genuin compassion. I will be returning here for sure for my future vet needs.

Great staff, from the receptionist to the vet everyone was super nice, treated my pet as if he was as special to them as he is to me. Kept me informed about what needed to be done and the cost, so there were no suprises at the end. They called the next day to check on him. Great Staff, Great Vet. Would highly recomend Paws to Claws

What wonderful caring staff. I took my sick cat to them and every one from the front office staff to the doctors really cared about Lucy. They explained what needed to be done for her went over all the tests and what they were for, gave me estimates and then was actually less than they had said. They called me the next day to check on her and then again a few more days later, my docor never does that.
