- The Kallam family got its start in the petroleum business in the 1920's with one gasoline station. In 1930, Kallam became an Exxon gasoline and oil distributor. In 1971, Kallam expanded the business to include propane. Even though we got our start with fuel and gasoline, which continues to important to us, propane has become the core of the business. Kallam continues to be a family owned and family operated business. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service and competitive pricing. We offer experienced servicemen and 24-hour emergency service for our valued customers. While we are a professional business, it is important to us that we continue to maintain a personal relationship with our customers. We feel that personal touch and willingness to serve is what sets us apart from other providers. We encourage you to contact us to supply all your fuel needs for home heating, gas logs, cooking, water heating, generators or any other item that needs fuel or propane. We serve Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham and Stokes counties.

The worst company!! DO NOT use these people. Customer service is non existent and they charge for service that isn't done. BEWARE!!!! I wish there was the option to give zero stars!
This company is more reliable than the postal service! I have been a customer many years and have never once thought about changing companies. My propane is always priced much better than any competitor and the service staff, especially Johnny, is dependable and competent. The job gets done promptly and done right the first time. There are very few companies with "small town" values left but Kallam Oil is one of them. As I have said, I have been a customer a long time but thank goodness their great staff has been there a long time and so you are not just an account number, you are a valuable customer to them!
Good service and great prices, what an unusual combination in today's world. Every inteaction with the Kallam staff is an example of what a company that appreciates your business is all about. My reason for switching to Kallam was price but my reason for staying with the company is the service and the knowledge that I am important to them. All business should be this easy and reliable!
