Dr. is very deceptive. Overmedicated, handed out dangerous drugs like they were candy. Office was a ((total)) nightmare. Would not get out important referrals. His high intelligence is no help if he don’t have common sense. He really should’ve lost his license when he was removed from his office. Watch this Doctor closely!!!

I loved this doctor when I met him in 2012. He is truly gifted. Unfortunately, the office has closed due to stressful issues. I for one am extremely disappointed that we were not given any notice. Most of us are on medications that are for pain and off label meds. Finding a physician on a dime is just not going to happen. I also had very expensive labs done and would have liked him to discuss the results with me. I hope that somehow he can will reach out to his patients to make the transition easier.

It took a long time to get an appointment and the wait was long too see him, BUT, he was worth every moment. He's the first physician I have ever met to thoroughly investigate a health issue by assessing the entire person. I won't see any other physician after this experience. The wait is long because there is no other physician like him in the Jackson and surrounding area, perhaps the State. Unlike other primary care physicians, this man spends quality time with his patients, and he doesn't resort to merely prescribing drugs. If you want quality care and good results, see Dr. Wood. And, his wife is an added benefit. She also is a health care professional and is very knowledgeable and engaging. The office is small but physically beautiful and the staff is professional.

Dr. Wood is fantastic! You will not find a better, more thorough physician. I do not know of any other doctor who will stay at his office till 10p.m. making sure his patients are taken care of. Yes, you wait, but you are told that before you sign up to go there. But, he never rushes anyone.....that is what is so beautiful about what he does, he listens to you. And, yes, it is a small clinic and they are often bustling about.....they have to be small in order to see the numbers they see, basic math. But, I would rather wait than be herded like cattle along with 49 other people in a day, only to see a doctor for five minutes. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere relaxing, and the physician is top notch. You will not get care like this at any other doctor's office in Mississippi, dare I say, anywhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Wood for about three months. I have been seeking help for my pain and cognitive problems for about 8 years. I can honestly say that I have never experienced the personal attention from a doctor and staff that Dr. Wood provides. I have my life back and am so grateful to him for applying his fibromyalgia knowledge in such a generous way. I still have a long way on my journey to good health but I am so thankful to have such a competent and caring doctor leading the way. Rachel b. 12/10/14

Dr. Woods is a great doctor. He has done wonders for me. He takes is itme with his patients and everytime I go he discusses what was going on the last time you were there and if there are any new issues or concerns during the present visit. He and his entire staff are great people. I would recommend him to anyone having any problems with Fibromyalgia and any other problems related to issues centered around this medical issue. Please feel free to call his office and inquire with any concerns or issues you or a family member are experiencing. If he cannot assist you he can direct you to the right doctor. Be blessed.
