- Rustic Cottage Home & Garden Decor is my favorite store in Lynden, WA! The family owned store is located in the adorable downtown Lynden outdoor shopping street. The owner Melissa is such a creative designer and her passion shows in her work - I love everything in her store! Including Trixie their Monkey is a must see if you're shopping in downtown Lynden. My favorite piece from Rustic Cottage is a vintage dresser I owned and had Melissa refurbish for me. I sent Melissa an example of what I was looking for she transformed my not so tasteful family heirloom dresser into a beautiful work of art! She told me she's starting DIY classes soon too, I can't wait!
