Sunrise Mobile Home Park

If you are thinking about buying in here, run away do not walk away run. You cannot get a hold of the corporate offices because they don't want to deal residents that pay well to live here. The office manager causes more problems then she solves. Our electric pole is practically falling down and has been for a while. Our neighbors tree is shedding limbs on my car and home. Nothing is being done...to get results any and all residents are forced to deal with code enforcement. Check the Orlando Sentinel for their write up on these slum lords...and that is being nice...do not live here...

Moved out years ago. This park has gone to hell. Water bad, manager sucks. Real trailer park it has become. Stay away.

Ever since Lakeshore (does this company even exist????) Bought this park, it has done nothing but become a slum. Ren is raised every year, with no improvements to show. Residents had to beg for a playground to be put in, we got it but it is not up to code - perfect for a single home with a backyard, not a "community". It's constantly breaking because adults use it; there are no restrictions posted. Furthermore, we've asked for additional speed bumps be put in to protect our children's safety, because most people here don't know how to drive slow. Those requests have been ignored. Management is reactive, rather than proactive. Yet another complaint- when something needs to be fixed that is the park's responsibility (not the tenant's) it takes months (upwards of 3), sometimes years because they "wait on bids" - there is no reason this should take years, or months. The current park manager, Gail Whatley, also has a tendency to make up her own laws - yes, I said laws- because according to her, tenants residing here do not have the 2nd Amendment right. She also only returns calls of the tenant's she likes, every one else gets voice mail, and she never receives the message. She also deletes emails from tenant's without reading them. As for Lakeshore Management, there is no corporate phone number. And if you do a search on the ibternet, a phone number and Orlando address may be found but if you call the number, the person just hangs up on you. If you have a complaint, there is no one around to hear it, and therefore, it doesn't get dealt with. Oh, and in reference to the complaint made in 2011, the cats actually serve a purpose. You see, we have swamps all around the park, and therefore rats. The cats kill the rats, keeping the rats out of homes. Since management saw fit to remind everyone said cats, there has been increased complaints of tenant's having rats.
