Hillside Motel

My husband, our dog and I were travelling across Virginia after visiting our VERY energetic grandchildren in Maryland and were badly in need of some peace and quiet. We had reserved the room at Hillside Motel because of its very reasonable rates (even with the dog!), and were quite frankly expecting the place to be a bit of a hole-in-the-wall. Instead we were greeted by a friendly and accomodating staff and an airy yet cozy room...absolutely perfect for us and a welcome respite for our nerves. We had such a great time at Hillside Motel that we were surprised that there were only two other rooms occupied by guests. So if you ever find yourself in the vicinity of Luray Caverns, do yourself a favor and spend some quality time at Hillside Motel!
