Very VERY terrible experience. Went there about 6 days ago.The phlebotomist lady did not clean venipuncture site before inserting the needle; and she even palpated it with her bare fingertip that she didn't clean either. She didn't give me a wipe to clean myself before peeing in the cup. I guess she just wasn't into proper clean venipuncture hygiene at all. Then I had a bruise and pain on and around the venipuncture site that has lingered around all this while; I never had such a problem before. A day or so after the blood draw, my throat and upper chest started to irritate and hurt, and I started to have cough and cold that just got worse (still have it). Now this makes me worried if she even used a new unused needle to draw my blood!!! I'm very terrified and have been to a doctor too about this. This applies only to this particular LabCorp center. I've been to one other center for some labwork and never had such issues.
