Castleton Farms

My brother and his fiance were planning a wedding at Castleton Farms...a pretty out-door venue for a wedding near Knoxville. Ownership just changed hands after they signed their contract, what a mistake!!! The new manager, Darla Walker, treated the bride in such an awful manner. She constantly tried to exceed the bride's budget and upsell her on everything! Instead of showing the bride everything she could do in her budget, Darla constantly barraged her with "It's not a 'Castleton Wedding' if you don't have this charger, or this plated salad, or this china plate or this chrystal." Darla is trying her hardest to market this old farm in the category of Biltmore Estates which is just laughable. Darla was so unprofessional, during the bridesmaids getting their hair and make-up done, she sat right iin the middle of the floor and worked on her next marketing idea on the computer. She charged $90 for hair and make-up, but it was her daughter doing the make-up, a girl without training after she told us it would be done by Montage Salon. Her daughter had me use my own blush, eye shadow and she didn't even have water-proof mascara. I had to re-do all of it! Worst of all, Darla never pronounced the bride's name correctly all weekend. It was dishonoring to the whole family. Please don't waste your money at this place unless Darla is no longer there.
