Pizza 9

First off, I will start by saying all the Pizza 9's I have been to in Albuquerque have been outstanding. My husband and I just moved to Los Lunas and thought the service would be as good, if not better (being a small town and all).



The first time we ordered, we ordered two of their sandwiches. A Chicago style beef and a combo sandwich. We requested to have it without the onions or bell peppers.. this they did correctly. We also asked to have the giardiniera on the side, as we have found that the sandwiches can get soggy quick. After the delivery driver left we realized that we were without giardiniera (and this stuff makes the sandwich!). We called back immediately and asked that they bring some to us. They agreed. An hour later.. no one had arrived. So, we call back and remind them that they forgot it and that we had been patiently waiting. They sent out the manager with the giardiniera, and offered drinks as a way to fix it. Thirty minutes later, we finally got our giardiniera and were able to enjoy our cold sandwiches.



After waiting an hour and a half for such a simple thing, we decided that we were not going to go there again.



Well.. turns out, we really like pizza 9 and decided to give it another try.



This time, we both got two Chicago style beef sandwiches with the same request, no onions or bell peppers, and giardiniera on the side. Once we got ready to sit down and eat we come to find out, this time they forgot the au jus. So my husband decides to just go to pizza 9 and pick it up, to cut out on the lengthy wait time. When he went in he explained what happened and they tried to charge him for it because the man working didn't think it came with the sandwiches. That was sorted out and he came home and we proceeded to sit down to eat, then realized that they brought two combo sandwiches. My husband calls immediately and lets them know the brought the wrong sandwiches. One of the employees there said he thinks he had taken the order and said that's pretty sure what my husband had ordered and was then directed to the manager. My husband was once again asked how he wanted them to fix it, well.. we wanted the correct sandwiches. He asked if we had eaten them (which we hadn't) or if we had our receipt (which we weren't given). My husband said last time they had given us drinks, but that we just wanted the order to be fixed, and that we will just not be eating there again. We were also told it would take thirty more minutes for our food to arrive, which really took an hour (we aren't even a five minute drive away). We don't blame this on the delivery driver a bit, he was quite pleasant and apathetic. Now, it was finally time to eat our one stale, and one dried out roast beef sandwich.



I cant believe the manager did nothing to try and keep us as customers (we have spent a lot of money at pizza 9 franchises in Albuquerque). At the pizza 9 that we used to go to all the time, they would fix the problem and even give us our next meal on the house! (although this was quite rare).



Very poor customer service to say the least.



This pizza 9 won't be getting our precious dollars anymore.
