Overall

Moved here in 2010. I thought the building and staff were nice, but realized the staff blows. Really not sure what Sean or the secretary does there, but every time I came down to their office, they were either eating or surfing on craigslist. Jessica is useless too. They all live in the building, so pretty sure they get what they want and don't care about the residents. If you read this, go to another apartment, like Versailles. Can't believe this place is owned by the owner of the Clippers.

Hey, I am a current tenant here at 691 Irolo St. LA, CA 90005 (Sterling Towers). I would like give everybody a heads up on their future living investment and the safety of their families. This is definitely not a place to raise your child in. The environment is very stereotypical and any deviation from their way of life would result to some serious headaches. Best too just accept this fact of life and avoid the future headache. The employees roam around like they’re the kings of the jungle and the owner, well he’s #8 on the richest douche list of the world……... That’s a pretty rich douche, so best to just stay clear from his properties! The corporate office seems to neglect the tenant and their best interest. Business ethics, I was taught that the customer was always right, but that seems to be a lost rule of thumb here. Rather than try and resolve a problem they just let it escalate into something inhumane. For the amount of rent I pay, I would have rather moved into gangland territory. At least I would have known that people have been brought up with the basic fundamentals of respect for one another and their boundaries. Moral fiber seems to be a lost concept here amongst employees; you know what they say about the people you employ. I warn you to heed this advice and stay away for this hell on earth for the safety of you and your family. My only regret in life was moving into this death trap of a community. I would seriously reconsider making further arrangements to lease one of these apartments. This isn't an opinion; it is a fact of life for me.

Hmm, I’ve been living here for quite awhile now and agree that this place needs some serious ramifications. There was a problem with my sink and it took almost 3 weeks before the employees got to it. The reason I don’t understand this is because there are like 10 employees and most of them live onsite. There is no explanation for this. I serious doubt they had anything better to do because all they do is run around acting like they work. I also talked to management about this and there were no repercussions. I would seriously re-advise moving to this high-rise. That’s all it is a high-rise, other than that there isn’t much to say, so simply put don’t waste your effort to try and acquire a place here. Seriously, how do you have employees that live onsite and not get things done? What do they do all day? I’m guessing a lot of them live on site, so there is no excuse. This place needs to seriously think about restructuring their management structure. There is only one plus to this place and that’s the roof. Thank you for taking your time to read my review.
