Overall

We have been with Farmers Insurance for over 25 years and we pulled the plug in March this yer because we were sick of the poor service. We have had an extreme difficulty in receiving our refund for our auto policies. We initially cancelled our policies on 3/12/15 and had our new policies. That day Mandy confirmed that our policies were cancelled and that it would take 7-10 business days to receive our refund checks.



On 3/12/15 we sent an email to Amanda Bobb confirming our cancellation of our policies.



My father had made a call in the end of March and left a message requesting that someone return the call with information regarding our refund checks. We did not receive a call back.



April 9th I called Farmer's office and spoke with Mandy. I mentioned that it we had not received our checks still. She put me on hold for 5 minutes and when she came back on the line she stated that we should get them in 7-10 days. I said that this was taking a long time and she apologized but that we should get them any day now.



April 23 We called Farmers and spoke with Mandy again. We stated that we had received a "past due bill", however our policies were cancelled 3/12/15. She put us on hold again. When she returned she stated that the process was "in que" but that she "used a firm voice with them" and told them that it needed to be processed today. I then stated that I spoke with her on the 9th and she had said at that time that the checks had been sent out. She apologized and said that it was a mistake.



My family and I are extremely unhappy with the insurance company. We feel like we have been given the run around.
