Esprit Ob/Gyn Center - Sky Ridge

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! We had switched to Dr. Voss at this practice because she came highly rated.We had a total of 5 appointments with this practice and actually was able to see the doctor only 2 times. The first time we had gone in for an appointment, we showed up 15 minutes early to find out that the doctor had been called in for any emergency C-Section and was not available. We had asked why we didn't get a call to let us know so we can reschedule, but the people at the front desk answered that they figured we can wait until the doctor got back. They said she should be back in about 2 hours. I am on bedrest because I showed signs of pre-term labor. How is it ok to have to sit and wait for 2 hours for the doctor? Unacceptable. We then asked that we get a phone call if the doctor will be out for a delivery or C-Section for the next time. They said that wasn't a problem. We rescheduled the appointment for two days later. We went in for our next appointment and when we arrived, once again the doctor was out on a delivery and wouldn't be back for at least an hour. We asked again why didn't you call because we had asked to be called if the doctor would be out. They said that the doctor had literally just left and told them she had to do a delivery. We were not going to wait, but wanted to at least get a quick checkup and check the babies heart rate. They brought us back and literally 5 minutes later the doctor came back in and said she was done. There is no way she can deliver a baby in 5 minutes when it took that long just to get down to the hospital and scrub up. So they lied directly to our face and didn't even apologize to us for doing so. We got to see the doctor and the doc was actually rude, mean and condescending to us. She said that we can't get upset because we have to wait since it was the nature of the business and it happens all the time. She also said to us that we need to remember that when I go into labor it is going to set her back at least 3 patients and to care about the patients that will sit and wait while my baby is delivered. We had an appointment the next week. We called this time to make sure the doctor was in and we were told she was. We sat for about an hour until we got up and asked why there were 7 other people that got brought back and were in and out, but we were still sitting there. The rude woman at the front desk went back to find out and a minute later went back to her desk and never mentioned a word to us on what the status was. 10 minutes later a woman came out and introduced herself as the office manager. She then proceeded to tell us that the doctor was very behind and it would be another hour to hour and a half until she could see us. We had asked why there were at least 3 out of the 6 or 7 people there to see the same doctor, but they went in right away saw the doctor and came out. Two of these people were there for an appointment 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment, but still got to see the doctor. We were completely ignored and made to wait. I have never been treated so horribly in my life at any place of business. The OB/GYN Center is the worst run business I have ever seen in my life. The office and scheduling staff are the most inconsiderate, rude and horrible people that have no clue how to do their jobs. The doctor quadruple + books appointments at the same time, meaning she will schedule 4+ patients at the same time/day and then not be there for any of their appoinments because she is delivering or performing a C-section. They say its the nature of the business?? Even when you do get to see the doctor she spends 5 minutes or less with you by checking the babies heart rate, measuring your belly and then throws you out the door, but not before making sure they set the next appointment with your wallet. Please stay away from this business. Its for your own good.
