Newer office rough start but very good now. Had wonderfull experiences. Rented 3 times so far

I would give this hertz a zero star if I could. This place is a joke. We were supposed to be picked up at a car dealership so we could get our vehicle worked on. They never showed, so luckily the dealership drove us over. The office space was filthy and smelled bad. My husband thought they had just been robbed. The guy who waited on us was apparently working his very first shift. Which I understand being new at a job, but the woman training him- the only other person in the store- was a raging b-word, and so sick her nose was literally dripping with snot. Which she proceeded to wipe with her hand when she thought we weren't looking. She was so sick she could barely stand and looked near death. She hovered over him and us the entire time, very rudely instructing him in what to do and making sure to touch as many of our personal effects as possible with her snot covered hands. I started laughing because I was so sure we were being punked. When we were finally given the snot covered keys, the new employee didn't walk us to our vehicle, he just pointed in the general direction and said good luck, we weren't walked around the vehicle to inspect it for damage- as is customary with any more rental car place I've worked with. It's probably for the best, because I would have demanded another vehicle. The car was so dirty, I am unsure of its actual color. The inside had trash from the previous renter and smelled of cigarettes horribly. The car also has a low tire pressure monitor blinking. Good thing this company cares about customer service and safety. Needless to say, I will never rent from a hertz again.
