Champps Americana

I don't know what as worse, the food or the service. I ordered a simple cheeseburger with fries. I bit into the burger and I could not bite through it. I was thinking, is this a big pickle or tomato? No, it was TWO pieces of WAX PAPER that were on either side of the cheese. It was disgusting. The paper was grilled right onto the burger. They were jerks about replacing it. Did you expect me to eat it with two pieces of paper on it? I will never ever eat there again. It shows you they have no regard for basic kitchen hygiene or paying attention at all during food prep. I emailed the restaurant and they never contacted me about it.

Have eaten at Champs several times - always a great meal/ wonderful presentation.
