Golden Corral Restaurants

Came in for the ayce steak, ordered rare and kept getting medium well. After four attempts I asked to speak to a manager. Manager tells me, rudely, its a new cook and that she will bring me a rare steak. No apology nothing. Then 15 minutes later drops off yet another Medium well steak. I leave and have been talking to corporate about the managers rude behavior. Don't even get me started on the servers who spend their time sitting at a table with friends instead of checking on the customers

When a restaurant can't even serve plain old vegetables that are hot and good, what can you do? My wife and I went a few months ago for lunch, and we each selected about 6 things from the buffet line. The first bite of green beans horrified me. They tasted like they had been on that line for a month. How can you mess up green beans? The macaroni and cheese was gritty, cold, and clumped together like grass under a lawn mower. The fried chicken was slimey and cold, without a hint of any seasonings. We took a few bites of each dish, then went to the register to request a refund. It's really too bad, since the Golden Corral we used to go to in Kansas City was excellent when it first opened. But like all new restaurants, the first year is usually good. Then through either bad management or greed, the quality really starts slipping. As nasty as the old Great American Steak Buffet was, it was miles above this place.
