Washington County Assessor

WHAT A FRIENDLY LOCATION!! .. I came to register my vehicles here just to find out out they are "out to lunch from 12-1pm" on a door sign...fine, came back another day and waited in line just to find out the "tax assessor left early today"... which prevented me from registering my vehicles yet again. I came a third time to find the out to lunch sign, but was prepared to wait since I now knew about it... so I waited in the line that was forming outside.. just to see them sneak a little post-it note over the "1pm"..to "2:10pm".. But when I finally did get help, all the ladies were super nice and friendly... kind of a bittersweet experience..but still worth 4 stars...

Jammie I must say is so very pleasant both on the phone or in person!! she always has a smile and a laugh! ☺ look forward to her smiling face when I go in .

Awesome! Since we are privileged enough here in the great state of Arkansas to get to pay sales tax on your car/truck/trailer, etc., when u BUY IT & are looking for a Great place to go pay your ONGOING, Life-Long, Personal Property "USE TAXES"on the same items, year after year, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I LOVE GETTING TO PAY A PERSONAL PROPERTY "USE TAX" ON THE SAME ITEM I'VE ALREADY PAID SALES TAX ON WHEN I BOUGHT IT.
IT'S A GREAT FEELING TO BE TAXED 10-20-30 times on the same stuff, year after yr. after yr. after yr....You get the idea. THEN THE LINCOLN OFFICE IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
AT LEAST THEY TAKE YOUR $ WITH A SMILE, THANK YOU & TELL YOU TO HAVE A GREAT DAY! WHICH IS SOMETHING I CAN'T SAY ABOUT THE WASHINGTON CNTY OFFICE IN FAYETTEVILLE.
IF YOU ENJOY RUDENESS GO TO THE F-VILLE OFFC! THEY'LL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR BY DOUBLE TAXING U ON YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY....By the time you DO get to pay them or do what you came to do, YOU'LL BE THANKING THEM for taking your money!
THE F-VILLE OFFC HAS TURNED CREATING BUREAUCRATIC RED TAPE INTO AN ART & REQUIRED SKILL. IF YOU'D LIKE A DOSE OF BEING IGNORED, MADE TO FEEL LIKE YOUR AN IDIOT AND GETTING MUGGED ALL IN ONE DAY, (IF YOUR LUCKY)... THEN THE F-VILLE WASH CNTY OFFC IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
BUT IF YOU DON'T, GO TO LINCOLN! AT LEAST THEY THANK YOU FOR COMING IN, & NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
