The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcas Corporation which has manufactured Cutco in Olean, N.Y. for 50 years. Vector Marketing Corporation belongs to the Direct Selling Association, the professional umbrella organization for companies engaged in direct selling in the United States. Its sales staff largely consists of college students. Vector Marketing maintains administrative headquarters in Olean, N.Y. The Vector Marketing Corporation also maintains more than 200 offices throughout the United States and Canada. One of its offices is in Lexington, Ky.
