Lavallette Borough Collector

I have always been a person to stand behind law enforcement in today's day and age. The way this police department is run though is very corrupt and they DO use excessive force especially on young women. I Watched one of their older balding officers respond to a call about a disorderly male on the beach when the male was no where to be found they approached a young female.she was probably around 18, possibly his boyfriend, and wearing a bathing suit on the beach. Her one hand was at her side while she was on her phone with the other when she asked what was going on the police responded by picking her up by the arm and body slamming her to the ground. She was not given time to explain nor did the police give themselves time to state who they were and what they were doing. Once she hit the ground she let out an agonizing shriek and start to kick her legs. The police then looked at each other and agreed upon her resisting arrest. Not only do they treat the people they are protecting like this but I did have to approach another officer to ask why such excessive force was used and responded by saying "i don't know why it was" in a tone that made it seem as if he was not supporting what the other police officer had done. As I said I was always one to stand behind the police and give them the benefit of the doubt but the force that was used on this nice beach day was excessive by literally body slamming a young women into the ground and corrupt by the police fabricating the resisting arrest charge. I hope I never have to encounter one of these officers because I fear that they will attack me and haul me away at my expense.
