        The Family Division, a part of the Eighth Judicial District Court, has more than 10 judges and handles family and juvenile cases. It offers judgment on issues related to community property division, name change, adoption, and abuse and neglect. The Family Division also helps people with divorce, annulment, child custody, visitation rights, and child and spousal support. It maintains a family law self-help center that provides assistance with individual representation, legal information, materials, and instruction on family court practice and procedure, as well as informational classes and educational programs. Additionally, the division offers a family violence intervention program that focuses on community awareness. Established in 1993, the Family Division is located in Las Vegas.
