From utilizing the latest technologies available today to incorporating more holistic approaches of lifestyle management, nutritional assessment and supplementation, herbal medicines and other alternative modalities, our providers believe in providing you with the latest health care information to empower you to make the health choices that are right for you. Led by Stefan Schaefer, M.D., our mission is to help you develop a health care plan customized to meet your needs. With over 25 years of experience, Dr Stefan Schaefer began his medical training in Naturopathic medicine. He later attended medical school at the University of New Mexico, graduating cum laude. Since residency training in community and family medicine he has practiced throughout the state of New Mexico. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine and is currently pursuing a fellowship with the Institute of Functional Medicine. He lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His philosophy of care is to serve as a guide to his patients, providing them with all the information and tools they need to obtain their optimal health.
