My Home AFC

A couple of months ago, my mom moved to "My Home" near Lapeer Hospital. They currently have two openings so I wanted to put in a good word because they've been wonderful to my mom. It's reasonably priced, lots of privacy, space, and is spotless. There's round-the-clock nursing care. The best part is that they are very loving. They are always hugging her and say they miss her when she goes places! It has been a wonderful place!

Suzie Downey, RN and owner of "My Home" in Lapeer, MI is the most caring and compassionate caregiver I've ever known. My first visit to “My Home” was to help with moving in my ex-mother-in-law. Upon entering this beautiful home you could just feel the love and my fears of leaving her there were diminished in a minute. Sophie had cancer and dementia and needed continual care 24 hours a day and received the care of a Queen at “My Home”. Everyone who lives or visits there is treated like Suzie's own family. The home is everything I would want for myself if I needed assisted living and I pray that if that day ever comes that there is a “Suzie Downey” there for me.
