Mid-Michigan's best barbecue! Fred Mendoza is the mastermind behind this incredible Barbecue Restaurant and Caterer. Fred Mendoza, owner, has been seen several times on the popular TV show "King of the Grill". Fred's food cart can be found in the fall at the Uncle John's Cider mill serving his delicious Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, and spectacular side dishes. Stop by and check out the fresh Brisket just near the Lansing Airport on Grand River Avenue.

King of the Grill has been slowly smoking Mid-Michigan's best barbecue for over 5 years. From day one King of the Grill has filled a much needed niche in the Lansing area of great tasting Texas Barbecue. Founded by Fred Mendoza, every slice of meet has been smoked the true Texas way. Fred was brought up in the BBQ business as his mentor in Houston Texas taught him the right way to make the best Texas Barbecue in Michigan. Often times, the King of the Grill Mobile trailer and smoker can be found at various events such as Uncle Johns Cider Mill in the fall, or The David Thomas and Andre Hustson basketball camp in East Lansing.
