Worst experience. The only thing good about this place is the teachers. The director Marie has terrible people skills, she is rude, she has a horrible attitude and no one child should be treated the way she treats them. I can only pray that her kids are never treated that way. She should not be over a kids facility!!! Please think twice before you put your child here.

The owner insulted me in front of my 6 year old who has only been enrolled for 2 days, because of this my son cries every morning during drop off because he feels they are mean and is scared. Dealing with a disagreement, in regards, to there 2 week termination policy. They showed no understanding or leniency that I just moved here from out of state, they obviously just wanted to keep my money at the end of the day! They immediately after logged my son off ClassDojo and the computer sign in mind you my son still has 2 weeks tuition paid in full! Glad our last day of business will be the 17th!!!

My daughter attended Wonderful Beginnings for 3 years and I could not have been more pleased with the owners and staff. We were greeted every morning with a smile and left every afternoon with a hug and an " I hope you have a great night, we can't wait to see you tomorrow!" My daughter's safety, well-being, and happiness was always # 1 to them. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Wonderful Beginnings has been the best decision of my life!

Not only does my child (who means the world to me) love it but my mother recently visited from Texas and LOVED what she saw.

I have a Toddler who attends the Summerville Wonderful Beginnings. He has been there since 6 weeks old. I love all the teacher & management they always greet me with a smile and hello!

My toddler is doing artwork everyday which is amazing because my friends child goes to La patite and they don't do ANY artwork with the children. Wonderful Beginnings LOVES ARTWORK! lol

There is pictures going all the way up and down the hallway.

The classroom is always clean and smells fresh!

My child is NEVER sick. The teachers sanitize the toys twice a day! :)) yay me! no doctor bills! hehe

They encourage children to read! I never walk in and see children watching television! Always engaging in activities and reading with the children

Management is always in and out of the classrooms. I am so comfortable leaving my child here! They have an open door policy which allows me to peak in on my son anytime I want!

I even tried to surprise the daycare and show up randomly to try to catch them doing something wrong when my child was an infant but I didn't find ANYTHING WRONG! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! I was so comfortable!

I highly recommend this child care center to single moms. They work well with schedules and will give you a peace of mind.

AMAZING to say the least! Very impressed with the amount of learning that went on in my son's 1yr old class. Truly exhibited that they are truly a learning institution even with the young ones, he is now 2amd still learning at a steady rate. The staff and teachers are extremely easy to work with. My son has been there since he was 3 months old and I've had not one issue. Would highly recommend!! My son runs inside in the morning and doesn't want to leave in the afternoon...that speaks for itself

I worked here but could not take it there. I cannot describe the rudeness that they treated me or the little ones with. As soon as parents are out of earshot. They yell at the little ones, embarrass them.. ect. I saw food left out for hours in the open then served to children. Super childish and rude folks not to mention GHETTO. Dont let Marie fool you.... she is probably the NASTIEST person I have ever met. HER ATTITUDE IS DISGUSTING. DSS would have a field day with all the violations. There staff to child ratio for the older children is way under par. Do not send your children here. They crush their little spirits with the disrespect. When your child is emotionally torn apart from coming to this place on a regular basis you will have to live with yourself.... for choosing the WORST childcare facility I have ever known.

Both of my kids have been and are at Wonderful Beginnings. My oldest was there since they opened back in 2010 and graduated from WB this past year. He is now in K-5 and he is well beyond his grade and that's because of the wonderful education and care they provide at wonderful beginnings. My youngest is an infant and I love the quality care that's she gets. If you are upset about the price think about the great services they provide. I am happy with my kids tenure at WB from Summerville to Columbia. Yes Columbia! Because when I moved to Columbia I was able to get the same great care at a great cost in Columbia. The owners are great and have become like family. I wouldn't have it any other way. Their family has been and will always be a blessing to mine.

This daycare is the most unprofessional place I have ever had to deal with. The director and the very immature, rude little girl do not know how to behave in front of kids or adults. On my way out from picking my children up at 610 pm, the manager Marie decided to inform me that if my kids are going to be at the center longer than 10 hours per DSS I would have to pay them 20 dollars per kid per day I was late. I told her that would not be possible seeing as how I work in North charleston. I will probably have to take them out. The next morning I decided to find out what I assumed was just her uneducated young self and the fact that she loves to hear herself talk. So I decided to email the director of child services. I got a call the same afternoon from the director who informed me there is no such policy and hasn't been since 2005. The daycare is trying to scam money and use DSS as the reason why they have to. I then informed these people how upset I was to get lied to and have them demand more money on top of the large sum I already pay them. I was very upset and told them they will get a week notice and can use the deposit for payment. I also informed her that I am going to tell the other parents how Nasty and unprofessional this daycare center is. Lisa the director told me that I could no longer bring my kids back since I filed a complaint. So I demanded I get paid my deposit, she of course being the hypocritical Christian she claims to be showed her true colors. She then went back and forth with her story saying it's wonderful beginnings policy now. This center closes at 630 pm and will try to get as much money out of you as they can. My children hated it here, and complained about the way the workers talked nasty. I plan on informing everyone what kind of place this is.

After setting up several meetings to go on a tour, I showed up for a tour and was told no one was available and I needed to come back later. Luckily I live close to the center. I came back later that afternoon but no one answered the door. After standing outside and ringing the door bell for almost 5 minutes, I decided to call. Ms. Marie came to the door and said "Why didnt you take a tour earlier". I let her know her staff refused to give me a tour because everyone was on lunch. She then says "Well Im in a classroom right now" and closes the door. She NEVER attempted to schedule a future tour or follow up with me. I never went back or called. Very unprofessional. For her to close the door on my face was out of line and beyond unprofessional. I can image how they treat the students. After reading these reviews, Im very happy we did not go with this center.

I don't know if the ones that gave 5 stars are really parents. I believe that they are really the owners. NOBODY in their right mind would give 5 stars to them. They are the nastiest people to work for and I would NOT recommend sending your child there. They don't care about the kids at all. Only the money.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD THERE!!! THESE NASTY PEOPLE ARE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY!! YOUR WEEKLY MONEY!!!!! NASTY NASTY NASTY STAFF, THEY WERE NICE DURING THE TOUR BUT THAT WILL CHANGE QUICK!!! OMG I HAVE NEVER NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AND THEY THINK THAT PEOPLE WILL BE COMFORTABLE LEAVING THEIR CHILD THERE!!!!!!! STAY AWAY! PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS ENVIRONMENT!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!

I took my child from here because of several reasons. 1. They still gave my child a food that she allergic too, when questioned about it they lied to me. 2. The director and staff are nice nasty. They are nice to you as long as you don't questioned them about your child or questioned them about something that is totally inappropriate. They will smile in your face and lie at the same time! That director Mrs. Lisa is so nasty and rude Her daughters are not any better. I've heard teachers yelling at the kids, roaches and sick kids still being allowed to come to the daycare. It is totally totally not a safe environment, teachers seemed like they are unhappy and simply working for a check, no excitement, no enthusiasm , when you initially go there for the tour, they are all smiles but that smile turns into frowns quick!!! I was totally uncomfortable with my child there. I would not recommend you taking your kids there, reporting this daycare for several reasons and I hope they shut it down!!! Don't put your child in this environment!! Please stay away!!!

My child attended this daycare and I didnt agree with some of the things that were going on. I spoke with the director about them and she was very rude and nasty.. She also mAde a lot of inappropriate comments. I don't recommend this daycare to anyone because if you can't respect the parents who are concerned about their kid and bust their butts daily to pay you then obviously you are the one with the real issue.. those kids are not treated the way they should be. Thank god for support from my family because if I had to take my child back to this center I would rather be jobless first

I don't recommend this daycare, during the time I had my sons there, I also heard teachers yelling at some of the old children. Some of the teachers are very very young and displayed a lack of patient with toddlers. The director at the time was also very young and didn't seem to know what she was doing. The new director is rude and nasty . Safety was a big concern for me as well while my sons were there, they didn't stay long!!!! I do not recommend this daycare at all!!!

Can't get enough of wonderful Beginnings! Great place to work and have your children attend. Highly recommended! They paid for my Early Child Care education classes at Trident, was able to use my education experience and and get employed here and also bring my 3 year old.

They neglected my 11 month old daughter. She was left in a crib all day and not fed while running a fever. They never called me to tell me she was sick, my daughter had to be rushed to the hospital for dehydration due to their neglect. My older daughter also informed me that they yell "shutup" at the babies all the time. Do not send your child here!!!
