I bought a 2009 Toyota Corolla S back in November of 2008. I was talked into having Simonized 5 done for $700. The treatment/sealant itself is not worth more than a hundred. According to many pro's nothing lasts more than 6 months to a year. Hopefully we will be able to take advantage on the protection against bird poop. We were doped into thinking it would cover rust. A few weeks ago we noticed rust spots all over the car. After some research we discovered that it comes from railroad shipment. These metal flakes are magnetically attached to your car and start to rust. It can ruin the paint job. I believe that this came from shipment, but they say since it was Simonized the particles would have been buffed off. Basically, they won't take care of the issue as a result of their chosen method of shipment just because I was dooped into paying $700 for a warranty.
