Went there since was out that way. Most unprofessional treatment. Didn't seem to want to wait on me when they did it was like they thought it was a real pain in the ××× to serve me.

Went last night. Firearms limited, equipment lacking and outdated, very small and limited ammunition selection. Did watch the firing line for a few minutes, and observed a couple of safety miscues within a few minutes. By the way, I was never approached or asked if I needed any assistance. I don't see why I would ever step foot in there again.

I have to say I met the owner seemed like a great guy. After speaking to him he told me the changes he made. Unfortunately the 2 or 3 men who were the problem before are still there. The attitude they have makes me want to go buy from a competitor so I do. I like to support small business but in this case I can not.

I'm a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and I just returned from my second deploment. I was selling some of my guns online and needed to ship them to another dealer. I went into the store to get a quote for the shipping cost. Which is not a big deal, gun dealers do this all the time. Right off the bat I was talked to with a degrading tone and was told that they could ship my guns but it'd be a "huge inconvenience" and he didn't really want to. He then asked how man guns I wanted to ship so I told him 4. He rolled his eyes and looked into the corner shaking his head. During this entire conversation he acted as if I was annoying him. He eventually got me the quote, but I felt extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable. If he had been polite and professional I would have ended up buying all my future ammo from them and a range membership. But because of this grotesque display of unprofessionalism I will never recommend Coal Creek Armory to any of my Marines, family, or friends.

Four of us from work went here a couple of years ago to use the range and were shocked at how bad the customer service was. The guy behind the counter couldn't figure out how to divide our range fees by four and started getting upset when we insisted second grade math wasn't very difficult. After some sharp words back and forth we left and got a good month worth of jokes out of the experience.



Prior to him becoming rude we were very patient, after he became rude we offered to do the math for him even. Our lasting impression was that some of the staff were so dumb they needed to be fed and watered to make it. I'm currently in the market for a gun and will not be going to CCA.

If i could i would put a 2 and half stars haha but the reasoning for that is about half the time i go in there the people that work there are just rude. There is a couple good guys there that are nice but the jerks greatly out number them. They do have a pretty good selection with hit or miss prices but for now Im going to stay away unless i just have to get something they only have.

They think that they can run a show being pricks but you don't sell me that way. They need to get something in the store the place is barren. I like frontier firearms better they are a little nicer and try to get your business plus they actually have stock in the store. Wow! Coal Creek has a big name but if Im talking to a someone trying to sell me something and they give me some smart remark and then walk off on the phone not my place to spend hundreds on a weapon.

Wow! Everything I wanted to do from Customizing my 1911 to just putting night sights on my Glock they could do. They put the night sights on while I waited! It took awhile to get my 1911 Springfield Trophy Match back, and when I did I was very impressed. They have 3 gunsmiths on-site; Shannon is the one that did my 1911 custom work. They have a gentleman named Eric working in the custom shop that made my beat up Sig Sauer look better then new by taking out the dings and scratches. They also have an indoor range that allowed me to go shoot my Springfield as soon as I got it. I'm taking the handgun carry permit safety course there next Saturday so I can carry my handgun, boy talk about a one-stop-shop.
