This shop was recommended by a family friend. I was skeptical at first I admit. They are out of the way and I had never heard of them before. I had lots of questions since getting a scary inspection at Firestone prior to comming. Firestone estimated around 1500 dollars for a break job with rotors and a weel hub assembly.

as it turned out, EJ was able to resurface the rotors and find pads (which was not eazy), the hub was unnecessary. I ended up paying 123.00 and my car works great!!!! KUDOS!!

it's nice to know there is a shop near by that you can trust to do it right and not overcharge. I would recommend this shop to anyone!!!

Worse place ever!! I bought 4 new tires and few days later one went flat, no pounture and no one can find out why it's getting flat!! Now i have to buy a brand new tire else where and i try to return the the tire and the guy have mw sitting and supposingly waiting on the owner! I know he is the owner i been waiting for 4 hours just for a $60 refund, he claims i have to wait on the owner because is the only one to put in a code in the credit card machine!! I would never recommend this place! I sat and watch him charge credit cards. After he told me the machine not working! His picture is also all over the office but yet still he is not the owner! Is one thing to not wanted to give a refund..but to lie to you about machines not working

These folks went above expectation on customer service. I was pulling a trailer back to LA on Saturday. Had bearing burn up. Went to Firestone they could not help and stated the folks across the street (EJV) might be able to. The staff stated they don't perform that type of work normally, but called the owner Mr. Velez. He pointed us to a store to obtain the parts, assisted us in disconnecting the boat. We brought the parts back intending to change them ourselves. However when we got back it was at closing time and he and his staff stayed afterhours to install and make sure we were taken care of. This is for someone that is from out of town and not local. I own my own business with seven employee's and you are only as good as you and your employees treat the customers. . I expressed my appreciation to Mr. Velez and his only statement was " I know you are from out of town and want to get back home". You don't find many businesses with this attitude toward customers. They deserve a 10

Absolutely Terrible, Took my mint condition vehicle in, and they ended up scratching 3 of my four rims! One had a large scrape on the center! Impossible to happen. Rude and referred to their signs behind their counter stating that "we are not responsible for damages to your property". They don't take responsibility for their actions and poor workmanship. When asked to remount my old tires back on and request a refund, they stated "we cannot guarantee that your rim will not scratch nor bend". STAY AWAY, Pay the extra and get better service done with better equipment.

July 18th my car died on me and left me stranded at a gas station. The next morning I had it towed to EJV, as they had done quite a bit of work for me on 4 different cars in the past. It took them 3 days to tell me that I had burnt my timing belt and that it would cost me $490. to repair. 2 days later they called me and told me that I had also bent the valves when I melted my timing belt, and that it would be another $1,100. to do the repair. I trusted them and told them to do the work. Late in the day on July 29th they called my home and told me the car was ready to be picked up. My wife picked it up and paid them the agreed upon $1,600. - though they said it would be another $300. and that he had told me this on the phone, they also told her that the air conditioning wasn't working any more. As for the additional $300., no such conversation ever happened. My wife was complaining that the car was shaking every time she took off or stopped. I noticed this right away, along with the fact that it didn't start right either. The next day I decided to take her to work, to see if it would act right. The high idle was way too low when I started it, again I noticed shaking hen I came to a stop, and the car bogged really badly when I took off. I took it back to them that day and told them what was wrong. Last Friday I went to pick it up again. They told me "The check engine light doesn't come on so it's fine". This morning my wife took the car and went to work. 10 minutes later she came back and said the car had died when she took of from the stop light by our house. The check engine light did come on then. I took it back for a 3rd time today and let them know what had happened. He said he will check it again. When I asked if a broken timing belt could mess up the air conditioning, the only answer he could give me was "I don't know".

My engine blew up so I took it to EJV. They Charged me about 2 grand to replace the engine. Then, about 4 months later, the engine they installed blew up again. When I told them what happened, they said it was my fault. I told them that the engine they sold me was garbage and asked them to fix it free of charge, since it was their engine that blew. They said there was nothing they could do and it would cost another 2 grand to fix. Neddless to say, I ended up selling the car for $850.00. They screwed me good! They are good people/mechanics and have some of the cheapest prices in town. I still take my car to them for any work i need done but it just sucks that they took me like that!
