The Grub Hut

I had been in the hospital after two surgeries, a total of 7 days. The day I got out all I could think about on our way home was a chilling dog, my husband wanted me to have the best around and we went to the Grub Hut. I was very weak and we sat in the first booth available. My husband goes to order my chilli dog, the owner and leaves him standing there (not taking his order for his sandwich). My husband is still waiting to order his sandwich, and when the owner/waiter delivers it to the table, and places it where my husband would sit, I reached out to slide the plate towards myself, when he slaps my hand, and told not to touch the plate 'It's his sandwich not yours" and placing the plate back in front of the empty place setting, and very carefully turned the plate so it would "pretty". I left in tears, if you have have been on a liquid diet or hospital food for 8 days you would understand. Don't know what has happened, it used to be a wonderful place to pick up a quick sandwich, but I guess if you are a Stage 4, you are treated like @#&^. Don't go there unless you like being treated like the lowest creature on earth, and if you are lucky the owner will slap your hands!

I have never once been disappointed! Great food, great people, amazing customer service! They have some of the best shakes I've ever had and I've never ordered the samething twice and it is delicious everytime! Yum yum yum!
