Stephanie is an incredible dog trainer. She has been volunteering to train the youth in my 4-H club to train their dogs for 5 years and has done wonders with their dogs. A dog is only as well trained as their owners and Stephanie kindly trains us to teach our dogs. The dogs come to club dragging their owners and within a short time are doing tricks, agility dancing and walking with great manners with a young child- sometimes weighing less than the dog in command.
She is well worth the investment of time and money into transforming your crazy dog into a well mannered member of the household!

I was at a total loss when our rescue dog arrived from Tennessee and she was nothing like the rescue had told us. We are pretty seasoned dog owners, but this new dog threw us for a loop with her behaviors and activity level that we were not expecting. Stephanie came to our house and reassured us that our Sadie was a true sweetie and that we actually got a great dog. She spent so much time with me on the phone and again at our house, she was patient in explaining everything to me and my family and helped us understand our dog much better. Her methods are kind, not punitive at all and it really shows that she loves what she does. We adopted Isabelle as a rescue dog. She had a very bad start in life being starved to near death and used as a bait dog. That being said, she came very loving to us but untrusting to others and full of fear. Thanking God we found Stephanie! She came into our home and taught us from a dog's point of view why this behavior happens. Her training is very comfortable for all involved and makes slot of sense. May 10,2014Today, my dog Mugsey and I had our last training session with Stephanie. When I called Stephanie I was at my wits end. I adopted a dog from a shelter and he loved to hump my legs and was becoming aggressive. After the first session with Stephanie things were under control and I have learned what I was doing wrong and how to train Mugsey. She does clicker training that I had no idea how to do it. It works!!! She teaches you in a very humane way, no yanking, chocking, kicking, or doing any harm to the animal. She is fantastic!!! My dog now sits, stays, walks, goes down, and is not humping. I now have a wonderful dog that we can spend many great days together. Thank you Stephanie for saving me and my dog. Great Job!

Stephanie changed my dog the minute she walked through the door. She is very humble but I have seen it with my own eyes. She never once yelled, or hit my dog. This is pure teaching you, and your dog, how to communicate better. Also she is VERY affordable!

Stephanie has helped me in problem solving for my collie to work through various issues in our training. She has helped me to make my dog into an obedient, talented dog who now competes in canine freestyle, obedience, is therapy dog certified and is nationally ranked in agility. Her dog behavior knowledge is uncanny and her keen observation skills enabled my collie and I to break out of a standstill in our performance. She is amazing! Stephanie was wonderful in helping our new adopted Siberian acclimate both to our home and to doggie daycare. Her techniques are positive - they are customized to your individual situation and they involve the whole family. It's really helpful to have her come to your home to see your unique situation and space. Our new dog is doing great and we have learned so much from her!

I had read about positive training with the use of a clicker, but never attempted it. Stephanie did a great job demonstrating the appropriate way to encourage positive behavior. She also was good about demonstration techniques herself, while still allowing myself and my girlfriend to train with Stephanie lending a watchful eye and advice. Plus she's a cool person!
