I have used this office for the past 11years.There has never been anything out of order here. You will never find any better doctors and staff to care for your fur babies as this staff does. Dr.Murphy is the bomb in treating fur babies. My lady bug loved her.

Provided by DexKnowsI cannot give enough accolades to Union Cross vets and staff. My animals have run the gambit with illnesses over the years and I have always been treated with concern and empathy. Their medical knowledge, treatments and surgery expertise have consistently been spot on and I would not even consider seeing anyone else.

Provided by DexKnowsI took my dog to Union Cross Animal Hospital after she started to limp. I am new to the area and this was only my second visit. My dog is only 3 1/2 years old and Dr.Lindsay suggested we have x-rays taken. They need me to leave her there ALL day to do this and she is terrified of strangers. They called me half way through the day and said that they thought she had a spinal injury and would need to do more x-rays $$$. They thought she was lame in both of her back legs because she rolls on her back and pees when she is scared. Then when we went to pick her up thew told me it looked like bone cancer, but possibly a bone infection in her back leg and that they would need to do blood work which I had done and x-ray her lungs to see if the cancer had spread, which I would not allow. They prescribed 2 heavy narcotic pain killers even though the dog was not experiencing pain. I left the office devastated. Being told that bone cancer is a quick and painful death and was charged $260 inclu

just moved from yadkinville to kernersville and the vets office is very convenient for where i live. took my cat in and was immediately struck by the awful smell. like 1000 dirty wet animals plus urine, etc... I could hardly breathe.
made it even worse that the young girls were chatting at the front desk. I appreciate that they give young kids a chance to work, but they need to teach them some work ethic and make them actually earn their pay.
if you have time to lean you have time to clean.
we got our yearly shots and got out as fast as we could.
Pros: location in kernersville
Cons: place smelled awful and staff was gossiping at front desk

Provided by SuperpagesOnly takes dogs and cats. Keeps up to date on the latest medicine. Take your tough cases here. Will go the extra mile for geriatric dogs and cats! My dog hates everyone but loves them. I tell them to muzzle him but after a few times of him not trying to bite (amazing!) they work on him without a muzzle. I still would feel better if they muzzled him - but its their fingers!

Provided by SuperpagesThe drs at Union Cross Animal Hospital in Kernersville and a wonder group of people. They take care of my three dogs and my cat (all of which are like children to me). I completely trust the group of people working there, which eases my mind in case I have a problem with an animal. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, even if I need it on the day I call. They are quick but thurough and make sure your animals get the best care that they need and deserve. All in all, I give these guys tops! All of my dogs (even the rescued ones who were sick) are now happy and healthy with the help of Dr. Tart and his staff. For me, it would be very hard to allow any other vets office to take care of my pets. Its Union Cross Animal Hospital for me!
