Beach Aire Motel

terrible!!!!!!!!!! when we got there we were told we had no key for our room!!!! we asked to see our room things looked pretty runned down and shabby but we found our room s reeked of beer looks like a crack house trim pieces missing we asked for our money back we did not feel safe there at all so he refunded our money (we had paid in cash) so days later they charged my credit card for three rooms we had reserved!!!! they had falsely advertised the place i am filing criminal charges against them!

So upset was here in sept had a wonderful stay so decided to come back and believer I have been sorry every night since we booked weeks ahead got here no heat in cabin was told use stove electric burner it set off fire detector so we left for two hours came back still no heat pyre finally called owner and was moved in cold weather very cold I would think you would have checked made sure it was warm ok that is not bad enough the employee calls out in parking lot we are not paid up how embarrassing so went got slip and then he said oh no your ok how hillbilly then I said are we to clean our own rod before leaving and he said of course not well it is third day never cleaned no clean sheets trash not removed I took a shower to find black hairs all over shower walls so all said I do not think I have to say anyore you draw conclusion the view is wonderful and if you do not want heat and service be sure and stay here saddens me actually because I loved it before do not know what happened but I wish it had been different

Thought it would be cool to stay by the lake. But 5 minutes after we checked in, a guy in the room next to us is hanging outside & begging for a beer. Then we ran into Rob, who hooked us up with one of the cottages across the lot. Which are so much nicer. Although the catch was, he wanted cigarettes for doing the favor. We offered him a pack of ours, but not good enough. So we went & got him his cigarettes. So even though the cottages are more private and nicer. The sheets on the nice king bed were not clean. Top sheet was filled with grit. Bottom sheet was worse. Ended up sleeping on plain mattress! Not comfortable! If you want to go to lake,you walk down 200 feet of stairs just to get to unstable rocks. And no beach. Could be so much nicer. Won't be back
