Complete lack of professionalism. Complete disregard for patient privacy and confidentiality. I took my children in for a simple, initial consultation. They wanted to take pictures of my children to save in their system. I told them that I didn't feel comfortable with that for a simple consultation. In an effort to force me to comply, Valerie showed me another patient's private information. Their name, address, dental x-rays and personal photo. This validated my decision not to have my children's photos in their system. They told me that I should find another orthodontist since I didn't want to comply. They also said "good luck finding an ortho who won't want a photo". Little do they know that my daughter already had a consultation with an ortho in Lee's Summit. He was able to take pictures of the inside of her mouth with a special camera. He was even considerate enough to ask her permission before he took those. He did have photos of some of his patients on display. He ASKED my daughter if she wanted her picture taken. She declined. He was polite and courteous about it. His front office staff was polite and courteous. Unlike the office assistants at Harmony Smiles Orthodontics. Rude and uneducated.

No one can demand that you have your photo on file. Know your rights. If you don't like what someone is proposing, walk away. That is what I did. I walked away. I wouldn't recommend this group to anyone!!!

Very happy to have chosen Harmony Smiles for my son's orthodontia care. My son, Miles C. has a lot of work to be done to his teeth and Dr. Simmons and his staff have always taken the time to explain the procedures in detail. The office is child friendly and equipped with the latest technology for dental care. "

I decided to go through orthodontia treatment as an adult (age 30+) and I'm so glad I did. Not only are Dr. Simmons and his staff experienced and knowledgeable, but they were willing to hold my hand through the entire process (not literally but I'm sure they would have if I needed them to) to ensure I was aware of and comfortable with each step of my treatment. Now my treatment is complete and I absolutely love my smile. Thank you Harmony Smiles!

The doctors are outstanding and really know their stuff. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to my needs. The office made me and my child feel special. They made the whole "Braces Thing" a great experience.
