someone left a package at my door at 10:30 at Night? so no one knows where my package is???
I was in the house, no one rang the bell????? you just dump my package somewhere, what idiots, does anyone have a brain at that Post Office...I don't think so...you can't even rate this post office, a bunch of morons working there.
so when I call, and ask where is my package,???? she called me back, wow!!!! they left it in the mail box???? who looks in their mailbox when they come out of their house in the morning???? I check the mailbox when I come home at night, and why didn't the idiot ring the door bell?????

The #1 worst rated Post Office in North America

I discovered that on an online poll of the worst rated Post Offices in North America, this location received the #1 and I can see why!

Over the years, I have personally witnessed scenes of such outright racism, homophobia, insensitivity and outright rudeness that it has made my hair stand on ends. I have see foreigners who have difficulty with English reduced to tears by the employees at this location, heard scathingly homophobic rants and raves from the workers, observe them on a daily basis lie, give misinformation to customers, break rules according to their whim and commit every sort of misconduct imaginable.

I made the decision to never support this post office as long as I live. It's their loss, certainly NOT mine!

You are all right about your reviews - on the phone with them now and am on hold for 10 minutes...it is a BAADDDDD branch office but now that I try to intercept a package online (to have it picked up in person instead of leaving on my doorstep to be stolen) the P.O. is asking for over $17.00 to have me pick up package on Bergen Avenue. What do you do? I was told to put note on door "DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGE) but if they take the package back to PO it still risks getting lost - or worse!

the indian lady here doesnt know how to admit mistake. this is a very terrbile post office i hope any of the supervisor read this. i had 3 valuable packages from the gov't and she said she cant trace my parcels with my tracking numbers. however, i was able to track it up on the internet saying it was delivered but only shows my area code to where it was supposed to be and all three parcels where deliever on different days but at the same exact time! how suspiscious is that. then, that indian lady told me that theres nothing she can do because her database says that it was delivered and even told me to next time avail a much better service which obviously pays more than a simple delivery . i paid $500 for each of those which includes the delivery .so much for resolution! This person doesnt even know how to admit her mistake. like, I was there and a lot of us waiting for the delivery. we where keeping ourselves updated by checking the correspondence and we were just surprise that it reported that it was delivered even though it was NOT! you need a better personnel than that! so rude just hung up on me after saying nothing she can do to help me!

Apparently my daughters Christmas gift got screwed up at this facility. Tracking says it left this facility on 12/19 but she still hasn't gotten the package and it is now Christmas Eve. There are NO updates and good luck getting any type of assistance. I will NEVER use the usps to mail anything of value again. THEY ARE AWFUL!!

SERIOUSLY??? I stopped using UPS because the prices got so high, i will NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!!!! a few dollars cheaper and I have NO PACKAGES, Phone numbers where people can't be reached and messages cannot be left, Customer Service at the 800# "NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME" , I would kill to get a job with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!!

This is the worst post office EVER! The lady with red hair chews gum and talks ob the phone. The indian lady does most of the work meanwhile she doesn't bother to look up numbers because she is not supposed to do it ? WHY? I have no Idea why. Isn't it your job to look up numbers so people can get their packages. Its beyond Ghetto its sad! They have no PRIDE in their job. CLOSE THIS OFFICE SO maybe you can get workers who want the job! These fools are taking advantage of the system,. FOUR Windows and a 1/2 Worker doesn't make a good post office. Oh yeah the supervisor is also USELESS!

OMG, the worse USPS Office Eve...

OMG, Worse USPS Office Ever!!

Where to begin...this must be the worse & sadly to say most "ghetto-a*s" post office I've ever seen. I'm so serious, it's unbelievable that it's run & managed by the government. MANAGEMENT HIT ROCK BOTTOM HERE SMH!



Listen, not only will you wait on line for about 1 hour just to buy stamps (Only 1 station open ALWAYS, no matter how long the line), but the carrier will delivery on his own time schedule. Honestly, mr. delivery man will show up on a Sunday morning (while all usps are closed) or after hours past 730pm or later (kind of creepy if u think about it).



Also, packages will be days late with "FAKE" attempts tracking entries made, as if the carrier tried to deliver package, mind you I have taken days off from work just waiting, just to see later on that day "No one home to authorize". It's enough to really want you to hurt somebody, especially when packages are urgently needed. The sad part is we are stuck b/c it's our zip-zone usps office. This is probably the worst pos...

This is probably the worst post office in Jersey City. I would give them negative 5 stars if I could. Unfortunately, we're stuck with it because we live in the area. We've had a number of issues, not limited to:



- Package Delivery Problems They just post a note saying "final delivery" the first time, and don't even ring the doorbell sometimes. Someone is usually home at our place all the time. Has probably happened about 10+ times in 2 years.



- Mail Theft We can't verify if it's from this post office, or deeper within the system, but we had some chocolates stolen from packages sent to friends during the holidays. The packages were actually delivered without the chocolates. Sad but true.



- Insane Wait Times As others have noted, they typically have only one person working up front, and that person is tasked with handling package pickups and then general requests. I just spent a half hour waiting in line for the attendant to pick up 7-8 packages before getting to me. Technically I was second in line and all I wanted to do was mail a package and get some stamps. A simple fix here would be to staff another person to handle package pick ups while the main person services regular customers.



I have filed a formal complaint with the post office via email today. I'm less upset about the attendants themselves -- they're not in a great situation regarding their careers -- and more disgusted with the management of that post office. I inquired today and it appears that the managers name is "George Flores."
