        DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! These people are incompetent. First, they installed our chimney incorrectly and had to come back and fix it, and it leaks now every single time it rains. Roofers have inspected the roof and indicate it is an issue with the chimney, not the roof. Then we needed a simple gasket replacement on the doors of our wood stove. They put the wrong sized gasket on the doors! Absolutely unacceptable. This business is a joke. If they can't get those two simple things correct, then they have no right being in this business.

        My husband and I recently had a gas fireplace insert purchased at and installed by Ithaca Stove Works. Our initial visit to Ithaca Stoveworks provided materials and information to help decide which product would be the best for our needs. On our second visit we were shown options and we actually ordered a unit, left a deposit and had an installation date set. Soon after measurements were taken, gas connections were located and the chimney was inspected. Ithaca Stove Works in very conscientious and serious about customer service. Our gas insert is now installed and we anticipate many warm, cozy evenings once the Ithaca fall and winter weather arrives. We knew the cost up front and there were no surprises. We completely recommend Ithaca Stove Works as the place to go for fireplace inserts...and more!
